He ridiculed the Jews, 2 and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said, “What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? What Does It Look Like to Build and Fight?
1. You trust God’s Word over your feelings.
“If you return to me and obey my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.” —Nehemiah 1:9 (NIV)
2. You do it afraid, you don’t give up, and you keep going!
3. There’s more faith when we do it together.
