Sunday’s Message – One thing that we usually lack on is joy. Yet, the Lord repeatedly tells us to rejoice. We are told that the joy of the Lord is our strength (Neh 8:10). We are exhorted to rejoice always (Phil 4:4). For the 2nd week of Advent we are focusing on joy. Jesus’ birth brought us good news of great joy for all people. When we know Him as Lord and Savior, we get to experience the joy of God. Jesus wants our joy to overflow (John 15:11). When we rest and trust in what He has done for us, the fruit is joy in our lives.

Weekly Fighter Verse – Luke 2:10-11 - “And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
