Luke 18:9-14

Have you ever known people who act a certain way depending on who they think might be watching them? Maybe they try to sound super spiritual when they are around Christians, but their conversations communicate something different when they are with unbelievers. Jesus wants us to be sincere, true, and genuine in the way we interact with others and the way we behave toward God. Christ applauded sincerity whenever he saw it. He loves to see it in the hearts of his people.
