Innovative Concepts Mission:
Reaching and redeeming the Unchurched, Making Disciples,
and Multiplying Leaders who establish vibrant churches,
bringing hope and renewal to every community we serve,
to further the expansion of God’s Kingdom.

INTRO
Last week, we learned the importance of corporate prayer—praying together, praying frequently, standing against the enemy’s plans, and lifting up our church in prayer.

Innovative Concepts was founded on the principle of prayer, and we want to return to that core value of praying together with power and purpose.

This morning, we’ll take a look into Jesus’ ministry, examining how, in His brief time on earth, He not only prayed but also equipped and empowered His disciples to walk in their calling.”

TEXT

“Their responsibility is to equip God’s people
to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ.
This will continue until we all come
to such unity in our faith and knowledge
of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord,
measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.”
—‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING

Jesus tempted.jpg

Prepare yourself for your calling, your chosenness.

Before beginning His ministry, Jesus fasted and prayed.

This was a time of comprehensive preparation—mentally, physically, and spiritually—for His mission.

WHAT WE LEARN CALLS US TO ACTION
As Christians, we celebrate God’s love, and through Jesus, that love is transformative. It breaks generational curses, shatters addictions, and conquers all sin—even death itself. Jesus died for all of us; His love is an active, powerful force.

His time with the disciples wasn’t just about fellowship or relaxation. It was a time of equipping and empowering. Jesus understood that both He and His disciples needed preparation for their mission—and that includes us today. He equipped us with four key tools:

  1. Prayer
  2. His Word (The Bible)
  3. The Holy Spirit
  4. The Church

“And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ.” —‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

STAY CHARGED UP
Use the resources we have to invite others to church. Let the values we learn be put into action throughout the week.

Sundays are a time to “recharge” and be refreshed, so you can continue to live out your calling and chosenness.

APPLICATION
1) Engage in our corporate prayers (Passion, Enthusiasm, Energy, and Power)

2) Pray for the people that you are trying to reach

3) Be equipped- take a few Innovative Concepts business cards and fliers and keep them with you when you go out. Keep $5 cash in your wallet to bless someone else

4) Any area that you lead for Sunday gathering, recruit and invite your people to help you in that area

“Jesus came and told His disciples,
“I have been given all authority
in heaven and on earth.
Therefore, go and make disciples
of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the
Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Teach these new disciples
to obey all the commands I have given you.
And be sure of this: I am with you always,
even to the end of the age.”
—Matthew‬ 28‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ NLT‬‬
