Ask: “Who will know Jesus at this time next year because of you?”

The Jewish and Samaritans did not spend time together. They did not speak to one another, so when Jesus began speaking to a Samaritan woman, you can know it’s worth paying attention to.

What was the woman’s response to Jesus talking to her?

Read verses 31-38. Sharing salvation with someone was far more satisfying to Him than any food He could consume. Why was sharing the good news of salvation so nourishing for Jesus? What role does obedience play in you, your family, or at work?

Read verse 39. Because of Jesus’ obedience and prioritization of His mission, what was the result of the conversation He had with the Samaritan woman?
