Summary: We are all needy. We are all dependant like sheep. In Mark 6, Jesus shows that he is the great shepherd we all need and empowers his disciples to serve his people.

1. What’s one thing you learned from the message?
2. Sheep get themselves into trouble, need ongoing sheering, need to be led and need
   protection. Share a time where you fit into one of these categories?
3. How do you seek to be shepherded by Jesus?
4. Are you currently serving somewhere? Why or why not?
5. Take some time to ask and answer the three questions Peter went through at the end of the sermon

b. How can I/we help you?
c. How can I/we pray for you?

Dear community groups,
I want to communicate how thankful I am for the way you care for one another. I would hate to think that this sermon would somehow communicate that I don’t see people meeting the needs of others. I do. I see it all the time and most of the time it’s through community groups. Thank you for being needy with one another and meeting each other’s needs through the empowerment of Jesus. I believe God is glorified when we do this. I pray we would continue to be groups that are shepherded by Jesus and meet the needs of others in his name. Peter M.
