This song has a way of expressing the disorientation of trying to follow Jesus when so many who are doing harm claim to follow him as well. The musical structure of this song demonstrates this in a clever way (I think) - the verses are in a disorienting 5/4 time signature (things feel like they don’t quite settle) and then the last lines of the chorus lock into a familiar meter.

New Every Morning
It is always helpful to remember who we are from God’s perspective - we are full of potential waiting to be lived.

Hard Faught Hallelujah
As we talk through how Jesus reacted to injustice and his own anger in the middle of that action, this song speaks to our disposition in the middle of our own struggles with injustice.

Ring the Bells
We announce the good news always, especially when things are not well.
