Psalm 127:1 - Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
Series Key Truth: God builds homes with Jesus as the foundation, community as support, and people at the heart.
Exodus 2:5-9a; Exodus 2:10-11a
1. Build a home by seeking wisdom.
Proverbs 14:1 says, “The wise woman builds her house, but with her own
hands the foolish one tears hers down.”
James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives
generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
Proverbs 2:6 says, “For the LORD grants wisdom! From his mouth come
knowledge and understanding.”
2. Build your community.
Acts 2:44 says, “All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold their property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.”
3. Mom is the heart of the home.
