A Biblical Worldview

  • Our spiritual journey is about shedding our world view and replacing it with a world view.

Matthew 4:17 (ESV) From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Matthew 5:3,5 (ESV) Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven… Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Matthew 5:6-9 (NIV) Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

Ephesians 2:14 For Christ Himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in His own body on the cross, He broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.

Ephesians 2:16 Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of His death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV) …You are not your own; …you were bought at a price.

Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 139:13 “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart”… You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.

Experience and education to change our world view:

Proverbs 18:17 (NIV) …the first to speak seems right, until someone comes forward and cross-examines.
