- Have you or someone you know ever had a near-death experience?
- How would you describe your anxiety about life after death? Low, high, or never think about it?
- Discuss in your group the differences between the three views of the composition of a human? Dualism, Naturalism, and Embodied Soul. How do each of these views relate to the resurrection?
- How does Paul use the fact that Christ’s resurrection is preached as a foundation for his argument? What does it tell us about the importance of the resurrection in early Christianity?
- Read 1 Corinthians 15:12-19. If the bodily remains of Jesus were discovered, how would it affect your faith journey?
- In what way is your bodily resurrection important to your faith? (vs. 14, 17)
- How does this passage challenge or affirm your beliefs about life after death?
