When they are against you

Luke 20:27-44

Once again, the critics of Jesus take one more stand to discredit Him as He is at the end of His earthly ministry. There will always be those who will attempt to discredit you and the good news of God. The way that Jesus responds is a great lesson for us today.

Jesus is questioned about life after death.
“Then Jesus was approached by some Sadducees - religious leaders who say there is no resurrection from the dead.” v27
Jesus gives truth about life after death.
“But in the age to come, those worthy of being raised from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage. And they will never die again. v35-36a

There is a definite contrast between knowing we have eternal life and hoping we have eternal life.

Action Points:
Life is filled with moments where we are faced with a situation that brings death, and it needs a resurrection.
Did you forget He loves you?
Did you forget He is able?
Did you forget He is there?
He has not forsaken you nor abandoned you.

Will we have faith to follow even if God’s timing is not on our timetable?

God not only wants us to see what HE can do but also who HE is!

Take God to the place in your life where it is dead.
