  1. Do Christians put too much emphasis on marriage as a key to fulfillment and joy? Why?

  2. How have you worked through temptation and troubles in your life? What have you learned that you could share with others?

  3. What are some of the idols of the single life? How can your life and worship revolve around what is certain and true?

  4. As a Christian, how do you deal with your loneliness? What are some of the lies about loneliness in the single life?

  5. As a single person, how have you maximized your singleness by putting Christ first? In what specific ways have you demonstrated devotion to Christ during your single years? How are you growing in your relationship with Christ?

  6. If I am single, divorced, or widowed, am I willing to seek counsel and input from godly and mature believers on a prospective mate if that is what God has for me? Would I be willing to honor Christ with celibacy if that is what He calls me to? How can I learn to submit my will to Christ?
