This week in worship, we continue our Lenten sermon series “The Walk”. As we walk through the season of Lent together, we are invited, through the example of Jesus, to grow in our spiritual disciplines so that we can walk “more in step” with God. During this season of reflection, we seek to grow in our own spiritual disciplines by walking together through Jesus’ story. Today, we look at what Matthew and Philippians can teach us about the spiritual discipline of sharing. Most people who choose to follow Jesus do so because of the positive witness of Christians through whom they experienced love and from whom they heard a compelling witness, an example of what it means to be Christian. How can we grow in the spiritual discipline of sharing?
