Daniel 3:19-30

3:24-25 | Many believe that the fourth man spied walking in the midst of the fire was in fact the very Son of God appearing in pre-incarnate form (Isa. 43:2; Ps. 34:7).

3:26-30 | The fire had no power because the real Power in the universe intervened. They were subsequently promoted, just as Daniel was after interpreting the king’s dream (2:48). The purpose of trials and testing is to glorify God, but it is also to purify His servants. Whenever a child of God is purified, he or she prospers. Whenever God puts His child in the furnace His purpose is to drain off all the dross so that he or she comes out as pure gold.
