
The Joy of Giving
“The Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than receive.” (Acts 20:35b)
Four keys to joyful giving:
I. Your giving
A. “Firstfruits giving” expresses incredible
Proverbs 3:9-10 (NIV84) Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. *
B. Generous giving brings God
2 Corinthians 9:13 (NIV84) Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.
