TEAMWORK || EXODUS 17:8-16

MOSES TURNED TO

Moses was just a shepherd and a fugitive on the run, and the Israelites were slaves who presumably knew nothing of fighting in battles. Moses turned to God for the help needed in this situation. Moses was reaching out to God saying show us what you are doing and how can we join you in your great work.

MOSES TURNED TO

This story shows us that it was not just Moses praying alone and expecting God to miraculously do it all. There were others that joined Moses in this work.

“Two people are better off than one, for they can

each other succeed.” —Ecclesiastes 4:9 (NLT)

GOD IS DOING THE WORK

We can find great comfort, confidence, and peace in facing the trials of our wilderness journey as we trust that God is in control and working His plan. Not only does God promise to be with us and to fight our battles, God promises many times in Scripture that God will do so in and through us.

“The next time you’re tempted to worry or panic, choose to

God. Why? Because God is your protector, your provider, your comforter, and your peace. He is your all-knowing, all-powerful, ever-present, faithful, and trustworthy Father. No matter what battle you endure, you know that in all things He will bring about good to those who love Him. As the old quote goes, ‘We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we do know who holds tomorrow.’” —Craig Groeschel

“For God is

in , giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” —Philippians 2:14 (NLT)
