Big idea: Resolving a conflict is far more rewarding than dissolving a relationship.

KEY TERMS

Forgiveness = a deliberate act of love, mercy, and grace; a decision not to hold something against another person despite what they have done to you in the past

Reconciliation = to make friendly again, to win over, to settle or to be in harmony in the present

Restoration = the act of restoring and rebuilding a relationship to what it was intended to be

Revenge = the action of inflicting hurt or harm on someone for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands
