  1. In Psalm 23:4 it starts with the phrase, “Even though”, which communicates that no circumstance or “shadow of death” can change the truth that He is with us. In what shaky season of your life did you experience God’s solid constant presence?

  1. In Pastor Rob’s sermon he points out that the trials we walk through both reveal and produce something in our lives. Think back to a recent trial you have faced, share one thing that was revealed and one thing that was produced.

  1. John 16:33 says, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Jesus is essentially guaranteeing that trouble will be a part of our human experience, but in the same breath He commands us not to lose hope because He has already won the battle. How does this command of hope change the way you think about your valleys?

  1. We aren’t “like” children of God we ARE children of God. There is nothing He wouldn’t do for you! How does your status as a claimed son or daughter of The King change the way you view your relationship with God?
