Joseph - Betrayed But Not Broken
Genesis 37:18-36

  1. Sometimes life will

    you down.
“they stripped Joseph of his tunic…then they took him and cast him into a pit…and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver…Joseph’s master (Potiphar) put him into prison”

  2. You may be

    , but you’re not out.
“the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man…the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand…the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison”

  3. Keep serving the

    where you are.
“Joseph…did not heed her, to lie with her or to be with her…Joseph said to them, ‘Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please.’”

  4. God will

    you in His time.
“(Potiphar) made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority…the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in prison…Pharaoh said to Joseph, ‘See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt’”

  5. Others will see that

    orchestrated your comeback.
“do not be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life…you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good – to save many people alive”
