Everyday Jesus: Everyday Jesus is a great way to deepen your Bible reading, prayer life & personal time with Christ.
• Monday: Read Romans 15:1-21 Paul understood his specific ministry purpose was to minister to Gentiles. Therefore, his approach to ministry was shaped by the measure of grace God gave him - for this specific work. Today, seek the Lord for the specific grace He has given you to do God’s specific work.
• Tuesday: Read Romans 15:14-21, Proverbs 16:3 Read v17 several times. Paul’s work has purpose, in Christ or because of Christ [not in Paul]. So he has reason to be proud of His work for God. Have you ever considered the “work of your life” to be for God’s purpose - not your own? Today, commit the work of your life to God’s purpose.
• Wednesday: {Day of Fasting} Read Romans 15:18, Acts 15:12, 21:19, Gal 2:1-10 Paul writes of what Christ has accomplished through him. What a profound thought: What has Christ accomplished through you (for others)? Today, just meditate and pray for clarity and direction around that question
• Thursday: Read Romans 15:14-21, What Christ accomplished through Paul was by the power of signs & wonders, by the Spirit of God to affect maximum impact and fulfill the ministry of the gospel of Christ. Pray that whatever you put your hands to in Christ’s name be by His power, so it accomplishes God’s purpose and fulfills the ministry of the Gospel.
• Friday: Read Romans 15:14-21 Seeing the power of God at work in his ministry work was the driving point of Paul’s ambition to share the gospel. Ask the Lord to increase your ambition to share His word, according to His purpose & power through your life.
• Saturday: Romans 15: 14-21, Isa 52. Paul allowed the Lord to shape his ministry work according to God’s plan rather than follow the established plan. Ask the Lord to show you what specific ministry work he has for you, that is unique to his purpose for you.
