Crosspoint Crossings

The mission of Crosspoint Bible Church can be summed up in three word: Worship. Connect. Thrive. Let’s use these as a grid for applying what we have learned individually and corporately.

Worship: Believers are those who seek to bring glory God the Father through exaltation of the Son in the power of the Spirit.

· What is unique about the the fundamental truth of Christianity of “God is a Savior” as opposed to other religions?

· Have you been living this week as if God is a Savior? What are some other “saviors” you have a habit of looking to when tempted for deliverance?

· How is God glorified and Christ exalted in our lives as we delight in the reality that God saves?

Connect: Believers are called to live in community with one another for the glory of God.

· In the context of a marriage, how might a believing wife encourage her believing husband to live daily motivated by grace and not by guilt, shame, fear, legalism, etc.?

· Men, what are some of the statements or realities of grace found in Titus 2:11-14 that ought to motivate us? What other realities, true or false, do you often find yourself motivated by? Consider asking this question of 2 brothers in Christ. Then spend some time in prayer together asking that God would make us men motivated by God’s grace towards us.

· Believing women, pray that God would work corporately within Crosspoint to develop your brothers in Christ into grace-motivated and faith-filled men.

Thrive: Believers have been saved by God so that Jesus Christ is exalted in their progressive Christlikeness now.

· Brothers, what were one or two of the descriptors found in Titus 2:1-2 and 6-8 that were most convicting for you? Why?

· How does the Spirit graciously break our wrong motivations in life? In what ways has he been doing that recently?

· What makes walking by faith so challenging? How (by what means) does a believer grow in faith?
