9 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers; and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” 10 Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked. —1 Chronicles 4:9-10 ESV

1. Pray for

For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield. —Psalm 5:12 ESV
12 And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him, 13 and the man became rich, and gained more and more until he became very wealthy. —Genesis 26:12-13 ESV
Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. —3 John 1:2 NASB
And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. —Genesis 12:2 ESV

Pray This: Lord,

more than I need so I can to the world around me.

2. Pray for

15 We do not boast beyond limit in the labors of others. But our hope is that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you may be greatly enlarged, 16 so that we may preach the gospel in lands beyond you, without boasting of work already done in another’s area of influence. —2 Corinthians 10:15-16 ESV
20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. —Ephesians 3:20-21 ESV

Pray This: Lord,

so that I might reach the of your plan for my life.

3. Pray for

And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number who believed turned to the Lord. —Acts 11:21 ESV
4 Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, 6 who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. —2 Corinthians 3:4-6 ESV

Pray This: Lord,

because what you’ve called me to is for me.

4. Pray for

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. —1 Peter 5:8 ESV
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. —Romans 8:35-37 ESV

Pray This: Lord,

and from every attack of the enemy.
