Jesus Loves You and He Trusts You Enough to Give You a Mission

Your Mission is To Bring Good News to the Poor

Luke 4:18-19
Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Extreme Poverty
Over a Billion people in the world still don’t have a New Testament in their language. About 165 million people speaking 2,000 languages need a translation project in their language. 900 of those languages basically have no church either.

Your Mission is to Transform Lives Through the Power of God’s Word in their Language

Your Mission is to Multiply Churches Where No one has Heard

Ephesians 2:8-9
“Amasɔtɔ ɛ kisixi Alaa hinanna nan xɔn dɛnkɛlɛyaan barakani. Na mi fataxi ɛ tan xan na, Alaa kiseen na a ra. \v 9 Ɛ katan tɔnɔn xa mi a ra, nayi muxu yo mi nɔɛ a yɛtɛ matɔxɛ.”

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Your Mission is to see Churches with Scripture Transforming every Language Community

Ancient Future: The Fallen Tent

Chris Seidman, Sr. Minister, The Branch Church

Acts 13:1-2
Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

Acts 13:2, NASB 1995
“While they were ministering to the Lord…..”

Acts 15:12-19
The whole assembly became silent as they listen to Barnabas and Paul telling about the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them. When they finished, James spoke up.

“Brothers,” he said, “listen to me. Simon has described to us how God first intervened to choose a people for his name from the Gentiles. The words of the prophets are in agreement with this, as it is written:

‘After this I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it, that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who bear my name, says the Lord, who does these things’ – things known from long ago.

It is my judgement, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God.

There Are Fillings

Ephesians 5:18b-19
Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord….

There Is Transforming

2 Corinthians 3:18
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Colossians 3:16
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

There Are Callings

Acts 13:2
“Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

Acts 15:16-18
After this I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent….that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord….

COMMUNION - Acts 13:2
“While they were worshiping the Lord…..”
