“The Name that is Above All Names!”
“Our Victorious Savior”
Philippians 2:5-11
“The Names of God Series”
One of my favorite lines from my childhood is “Who is that masked man?” Over the past few weeks, we have been asking “Who is God? What can we learn about Him from His descriptive names?”
Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday are the climatic moments when Jesus showed exactly “who God is.” The story of those days is dramatic and emotional. They are filled with horror and with hope. They are driven by the worst Satan can deliver and the best God will give.
In the end, one name stands out. In Philippians 2, the Apostle Paul says, “that at the name of Jesus…” Who is this Jesus and what will you do with Him?
He is the One who
He is the One who
He is the One who is
He is the One who is
Memory Verse: “Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11 NIV)
