At Christ Community Church, we provide support through our Celebrate Recovery Program and our Prayer Ministry, for people to connect and go through the highs & lows of life together. These ministries provide you and your family to extend the love, comfort, and compassion of Jesus Christ. We want to be there when people need it the most. Whether it’s when you’re going through a difficult time, need a helping hand, or just simply listening.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY (CR)
WHAT IS CELEBRATE RECOVERY?
Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Bible-based recovery ministry that currently meets every Friday evening from 6:30-9PM. Based on the 8 principles of the Beatitudes in Matthew, Celebrate Recovery helps men and women find freedom from their hurts, habits, and hang-ups.
WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE LIKE FOR CELEBRATE RECOVERY?
Every Friday Night:
• Dinner is available from 5:45pm-6:15PM
• Worship and Large Group teaching from 6:30-7:30PM
• Small Group discussion from 7:30-8:30PM
• And fellowship from 8:30-9PM.
WHAT ARE THE SMALL GROUPS AVAILABLE AT CELEBRATE RECOVERY?
Small group discussion is grouped by gender and by topic. Groups are based on need, interest and availability.
Small Group topics can include:
• Co-Dependency
• Anger Management
• Sexual & Chemical Addiction
• Adult Children of Family dysfunction,
• …and others
IF I AM NEW TO CR, HOW DO I KNOW WHAT GROUP TO BE IN?
A Newcomer class is offered each week to make first timers feel welcomed. The Director/Leader will get an opportunity to find out what the needs are and match you up to the group that would be the right fit.
WHAT’S AVAILABLE FOR KIDS, IF THEY COME?
While you are in Celebrate Recovery, Celebration Place is where your child can make new friends, share ideas, play games, create crafts and watching videos/movies. Each week your children will learn the same lesson you are learning in Celebrate Recovery.
We do have our “PREcovery” program called:
Celebration Place for kids ages: 2 to 12 years old
*Unfortunately at this time:
- our youth program (13+) and our nursery (0-1 yr old.) are currently unavailable. *

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT IS AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE WEEK WITH CR?
There are concentrated small group studies where the principles of Celebrate Recovery are fleshed out and applied. These studies are gender specific and meet weekly on Monday nights during the school year. If interested, email: cr@aplacetobelong.com.

PRAYER MINISTRY
The more time you spend with someone, the more you know them and grow in relationship.
As is with God, the more you spend time in prayer with Him, the more your faith and relationship will grow in Him. Prayer is a powerful tool that have a lasting effect on your life! We believe the greatest asset of the follower of Jesus, is the access to the power of God He has in prayer.
OPPORTUNITY TO PRAY AS A GROUP
We meet online weekly to pray-
for each other, for our families, and for what God is doing in our city and around the world. We gather as a church body to call out for God to pour out His love and salvation through our church. Contact Margaret Gasperson if you have questions or interested in knowing more about our prayer groups that pray together weekly.
