The core of Jesus’ message often focused on the word “prepare.” Jesus spent three years preparing His disciples to continue His ministry. He called people to prepare for eternity. He prepared followers to be fully committed disciples. The single focus to prepare flows out of His ministry. His call then is His call today – prepare. Now is the time. We are the people. Prepare!

Jesus Teaches Us:

  1. Reveal Answer
    - It’s Urgent

    • All these are the beginnings of birth pains (Matt 24:8)
    • And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. (Matt 24:14)
    • See I have told you ahead of time. (Matt 24:25)
    • Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. (Matt 24:33)

  3. Lack of Preparedness Has

    • The door was shut on the wedding feast. (Matt. 25:10)
    • The worthless servant was thrown into darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matt 25:30)
    • At the separation of the sheep and the goats, the goats go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

So what do I do? How can I prepare?
