
I. THAT NO ONE SHOULD BE LOST
“If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it?” —Luke 15:4
“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Won’t she light a lamp and sweep the entire house and search carefully until she finds it?” —Luke 15:8
“For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” —Luke 19:10
II. GOD LOVES PEOPLE
“God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” —John 3:16
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices His life for the sheep.” —John 10:11
When the extraordinary compassion of God our Savior and His overpowering love suddenly appeared in person, as the brightness of a dawning day, He came to save us. Not because of any virtuous deed that we have done but only because of His extravagant mercy. —Titus 3:4,5
Mary of Magdalene
He took His twelve disciples with Him, along with some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases. Among them were Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons… —Luke 8:1,2
Matthew
As Jesus was walking along, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at his tax collector’s booth. “Follow Me and be My disciple,” Jesus said to him. So Matthew got up and followed Him. —Matthew 9:9
The Samaritan Woman at the Well
Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Please give Me a drink.” The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could He possibly be the Messiah?” —John 4:7,28,29
III. REACH PEOPLE
- See people through God’s eyes.
- Treat everyone with honor.
- Wait for the right time to share the hope you carry.
- Invite them to come to church with you.
There are people around you that are ONE ASK AWAY from a life-changing experience with Jesus!
