Doubt - A feeling of uncertainty about something or someone. Doubt occurs when you lose confidence in something or someone. It’s when your undecided or skeptical. Or you’re inclined to unbelief. Doubt is a feeling of not knowing what to believe or what to do, or the condition of being uncertain.
Cynicism - is an attitude of suspicion where you believe the future is bleak and that people are only acting out of self-interest.
“And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.” —Matthew 17:1
