
SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. —Matthew 6:33
9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. —Matthew 6:9 - 10
HE WATCHES OVER HIS KINGDOM DAILY
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. —Matthew 6:34
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. —Psalms 91:1 - 328 For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
29 For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall.
30 As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
31 For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?
32 It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect.
33 He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places. —Psalms 18:28 - 33
1. He gives direction daily for His Kingdom
As for God, His way is perfect… —Psalms 18:30a
He restores my soul;He leads me in the paths of
righteousness for His name’s sake. —Psalms 23:311 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. —1 Corinthians 2:11 - 1314 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, —Romans 8:14 - 16
2. He watches over His Kingdom with faithfulness.
…The word of the Lord is proven; —Psalms 18:30b
Heaven and earth will pass away,
but My words will by no means pass away. —Matthew 24:35So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. —Romans 10:17
Even though I walk through the darkest valley,I will fear no evil, for you are with me;your rod and your staff, they comfort me. —Psalms 23:4 (NIV)
I would have lost heart, unless I had believedThat I would see the goodness of the LordIn the land of the living. —Psalms 27:13
I have been young, and now am old;Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken,Nor his descendants begging bread. —Psalms 37:25
3. He watches over His Kingdom “me” daily with a shield.
…He is a shield to all who trust in Him. —Psalms 18:30c
21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.
22 He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people. —Exodus 13:21 - 22Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. —Isaiah 58:8
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

4. He watches over His Kingdom as The Perfect Father.
31 For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?
32 It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect. —Psalms 18:31 - 32For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. —2 Corinthians 5:21
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield;My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,And with my song I will praise Him.
8 The Lord is their strength, and He is the saving refuge of His anointed. —Psalms 28:7 - 8
