The woeful life is one that is self-sufficient, satisfied with the things on this earth.

How to cultivate an eternal outlook
Meditate on the shortness of life.
Read scriptures that talk about the end times and eternal life.
- Jesus teaches us to love radically.
Who should we radically love?
1. Love your enemies
2. Do good to those who hate you (v27)
3. Bless those who curse you (v28)
4. Pray for those who mistreat you (v28)
What does this look like?
1. Turn the other cheek (v29)
2. Give away your clothes (v29)
3. Give to all who ask (v30)
4. Don’t judge hypocritically (vs 37-42)
How do we generate such love?
Let God’s love and mercy transform your life.
