“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where
thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and
vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is,
there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:19-21
- Deal or No Deal: Choose your Treasure
“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21
Until/Unless Jesus has tapped into our treasure, he will never truly have our hearts!
“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.
But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within
you is darkness, how great is that darkness! Matthew 6:22-23
2 Deal or No Deal: Choose your Perspective
"The eye is the lamp of the body.” Matthew 6:22
A “good eye” = A generous view
A “bad eye = A non-generous view
"The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are generous, your whole body will be full
of light. But if your eyes are ungenerous, your whole body will be full of darkness."
Matthew 6:22-23
A Spirit of Lack or a Spirit of Generosity?
3 Deal or No Deal: Choose your Master
"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will
be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.”
Matthew 6:24
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about
your body, what you will wear. Matthew 6:25
So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we
wear?’ Matthew 6:31
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you
need them. Matthew 6:32
