Colossians 3:18-4:1

1. To what degree do you think this passage reflects the home in which you were raised?
   

2. From your perspective, how is marriage designed to be a complement of gifts and responsibilities?
   

3. Why is it difficult to voluntarily submit yourself to someone else? Is there anyone in your life who’s easy to follow because of either their position or personality?
   

4. Children are to obey their parents in everything according to verse 20. How important is this command to God? For greater insight, read Romans 1:28-32.
   

5. How does Jesus’ example of submitting to His Father provide hope and encouragement to you? Remember, submission has nothing to do with equality since every Person of the Trinity are equal.
