Travel to Jerusalem to present offering at temple
The family returns to their own town of Nazareth (Luke 2:39)
Magi from the east show up in Jerusalem, then to Nazareth
Joseph and Mary escape to Egypt and remain there until Herod died
Joseph and Mary consider Bethlehem, but return to Nazareth (Mt. 2:22-23)
