If you’re not a Christian: Only peace with God can be an anchor that holds through any storm! See Colossians 1:19-20 “When darkness veils his lovely face, I rest on His unchanging grace. In every high and stormy gale, My anchor holds within the veil.” See Hebrews 6:19-20
Take Time To Reflect
(1) What have you lost over the past few years and what specific ways has this taken a toll on your life and the lives of those you love?
(2) How can you intentionally name—with Godward-gratefulness—the specific things that you have gained over that same timeframe?
(3) Who has stood with you during the loss and gain pointing you to the sufficiency of Jesus? How can you thank them?
GET THIS: Life brings crashing waves of loss and gain, but we have an Anchor… THE ANCHOR, that holds through any storm!
