One temptation we face is to give up when trials come our way. Christians are not exempt from afflictions. The apostle Paul certainly knew this truth. In the text before us, we see that Paul had an attitude of faith (4:13). As such, he did not lose heart. He had convictions that gave him confidence in the midst of his trials.
