Parenting Matters

Praise the Lord.

Praise God in his sanctuary;

 praise him in his mighty heavens.

Praise him for his acts of power;

 praise him for his surpassing greatness.

Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,

 praise him with the harp and lyre,

praise him with tambourine and dancing,

 praise him with the strings and flute,

praise him with the clash of cymbals,

 praise him with resounding cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD. —Psalm 150

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. —Deuteronomy 6:4-9
