Ezra 9:3-8
REVIVAL HAPPENS WHEN THE PEOPLE OF GOD REPENT AS ONE BEFORE GOD!
1. The People
- Then everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel assembled to me… —Ezra 9:4
2. Broken Over
- So the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of the 9 Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish? —Jonah 3:5,9

- we, our kings, and our priests have been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, to plunder, and to humiliation, as it is this day. —Ezra 9:7

- But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble. —James 4:6
- Revival Comes to the Repentant.
- For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones. —Isaiah 57:15
