Introduction:

God wants you to thrive. But many of us are just trying to survive. Maybe you feel the same way. However, God wants you to be revived and thriving. You do this by looking for opportunities to improve and maximize your life in the areas of health and wellness. Do you need a reset, a fresh start in the areas of physical, spiritual, and emotional health?

“Dear friend, I pray that you are prospering in every way and are in good health, just as your whole life is going well.” —3 John 2

You may not feel like you are thriving right now because you have not been taking care of yourself. This season of life may have you feeling defeated, lost, and not knowing where to start in moving from surviving to thriving.

In this seven-week collection of talks, you are going to explore six A.C.T.I.O.N. steps toward thriving again in your health and wellness.

Text: Ecclesiastes 4:8-12 (Old Testament, CSB)

Today’s Takeaway: Your tribe dictates your vibe and your ability to thrive

THRIVE WEEK #6: Organization: Developing Your Team

I. THERE IS STRENGTH IN

“Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts. 10 For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up. 11 Also, if two lie down together, they can keep warm; but how can one person alone keep warm? 12 And if someone overpowers one person, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” —Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

II. A TRIBE BRINGS MUTUAL

A. We get more done together.

“For by the grace given to me, I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he should think. Instead, think sensibly, as God has distributed a measure of faith to each one. 4Now as we have many parts in one body, and all the parts do not have the same function, 5in the same way we who are many are one body in Christ and individually members of one another.” —Romans 12:3-5

B. We are better together.

“And let us watch out for one another to provoke love and good works, 25not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching.” —Hebrews 10:24-25
