Psalm 39:1-3
I said to myself, “I will watch what I do and not sin in what I say. I will curb my tongue when the ungodly are around me.” But as I stood there in silence not even speaking of good things, the turmoil within me grew to the bursting point. Psalms 17:3
You have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night. You have scrutinized me and found nothing amiss, for I am determined not to sin in what I say.

Isaiah 53:7
He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet He never said a word. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, He did not open His mouth.
1 Peter 2:21-24
You were chosen to do good even if you suffer. That’s because Christ suffered for you. He left you an example that he expects you to follow. Scripture says, “He didn’t commit any sin. No lies ever came out of his mouth.” People shouted at him and made fun of him. But he didn’t do the same thing back to them. When he suffered, he didn’t say he would make them suffer. Instead, he trusted in the God who judges fairly. “He himself carried our sins” in his body on the cross. He did it so that we would die as far as sins are concerned. Then we would lead godly lives. “His wounds have healed you.”
