SERMON DISCUSSION GUIDE
Big Idea
“If you want to worship God the way he wants to be worshiped, put down your idols, stop imagining what God is like or trying to make him conform to what you want him to be like. Worship him as Spirit, worship him only, and worship him in Spirit and in truth.”

How does Jesus describe the people the Father is seeking?
How is God’s love for us, combined with his sacrifice and commitment, a picture of a love without an exit strategy?
NOTES
PERSONAL REFLECTION
What has God shown you as you studied his word this week?
Are you worshiping God the way he desires to be worshiped, or are you worshiping a god of your making?
Why is God often number three or four on our priority lists?
Why is God’s capacity to love you worth worshiping him and him alone?
How will you personally apply what you learned from the sermon to your life?
