Day 30
THE END IS ONLY THE BEGINNING
We are at day 30 of Back to Eden - Cultivating your marriage. You made it. It was not easy, but you showed up!
All of the reflections carry major weight and time to complete and you are probably nowhere near completing half, but you persisted through.
It seems like the devil himself set every trap in hell to kill steal and destroy your joy and determination regarding this devotional, but you pressed on in faith.
You may feel that there is more work than you anticipated and now feel perplexed, but you have a hope in who can fix it.
These are all examples of negatives curbed through the renewed mind in Christ and sees hope when all around is not.
Remember the promises of God.
I will never leave you nor forsake you. —Deuteronomy 31: 6-8
I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. —Philippians 4:13 (NLT)
“When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.” —Ephesians 3:14-16 NLT
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” —Matthew 7:7-8 NLT
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” —Romans 8:28 NLT
There are so many more promises to re-inforce that you and your spouse are not alone. On your wedding day you became “official” with witnesses. Today we stand as witnesses that as a church, a small group, a village, we want to see you transformed in your life and your marriage and we are committed to walking this journey out with us.
At the Harvest, we are all about life change. We suggest you try these few things
● Take TIME: regularly connect physically, emotionally, and spiritually with your Spouse not about everything else but rather you both. Know the State of your Marriage.
● Use your TALENT: cement your responsibilities in marriage based on your zone of genius without usurping the roles as defined by God.
● Plant your TREASURE: Be practical with the blueprint of your finances. Let your consolidate money work to honor God and achieve your long and short term goals.
● TELL: each other the TRUTH no matter what. God honors integrity.
● Pick a TRIBE and get connected in a Bible believing Church like Bahamas Harvest Church and Connected Life Small Group because fulfilled life is better together. Doing these things assure a transformed life and you are only one decision away from
beginning the walk there.
Prayer.
Thank you Lord for your faithfulness to my spouse and I over the past 30 days. We ask that you give us the courage, tools and village to complete that which brings your Glory. In Jesus Name. Amen.
