HEAD: These questions help us examine the Word.
1.Can someone give a little background for the book of Joshua? What are some of the recent events that lead up to this book?
2. Read Joshua 1:1-9. What kinds of challenges were the Israelites facing as they prepared to enter the land?
3. What does God command them to do? What does He promise them?
4. In what way are these commands and promises applicable to us today?

HEART: These questions help us wrestle with what we believe.
5. How do you know when you are resting firmly on God’s promises?
6. What are some promises from God’s word that are especially meaningful to you?

HAND: These questions help us bring truth and beliefs into our everyday life.
7. What are you facing right now that is requiring courage? Let’s pray for each other and encourage each other in this.
