WARM UP: Share about a moment that altered the trajectory of your life, maybe for better or for worse. [Today we are going to look at the angel’s announcement to Mary and see how Jesus altered the course of his life.]
HEAD: These questions help us examine the Word.
1. Read Luke 1:26-38. According to these verses, who is Jesus?
2. What does God ask of Mary? What are some of the sacrifices that Mary would have to make?
3. Read Luke 1:38 and 1:46-50. How does Mary respond to what God is asking? Why do you think she responds the way she does?
