ASKING QUESTIONS IS A GOOD THING
We should ask questions to better understand the truth (Matthew 22:37; 2 Peter 3:18a)
When we have doubts, we should ask questions (Matthew 11:11)
Doubts we have about things that aren’t true (Mark 2:27)
Doubts about salvation (James 3:2; 2 Peter 1:10)
SHOULD WE ASK QUESTIONS WITHOUT WANTING TO FIND ANSWERS?
Postmodernism and the rejection of the “metanarrative”
The Bible is the true story that explains everything
God reveals the truth through His Word, the Bible (John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16)
We cannot create truth (2 Corinthians 4:5-6)
DEUTERONOMY 29:29
We don’t know everything, only God does
The things God has revealed “belong to us”
