The Unseen World - 2 Cor 4:18

were you a little foolish this week… hope so…
1Cor 1:18-25… “word is power of God to those who are being saved… God was pleased to save those who believe thru the foolishness of what was preached…”
1Cor 2… “no eye has seen… no ear has heard… no mind has imagined what God has in store for those who love Him… God reveals these things by His Spirit… we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit)… so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us… people who don’t have God’s Spirit can’t receive these truths… it sounds foolish… we understand for we have the mind of Christ…”
live in physical world… this world is not only world that exists… pray…
live in real physical world in physical body which can do physical things… but at same time… spiritual world is also real… there’s more than what we can see…
2Kings 6:8-23… “massive army surrounded them… servant discovered the army… master, what will we do… Elisha said, don’t be afraid, those who are with us outnumber those who are with them, Lord, please open his eyes and let him see… so the Lord opened the servant’s eyes and he saw the mountain was covered with chariots of fire all around Elisha… when the enemy came against Elisha, he prayed… please strike this army with blindness…”
2Cor 4:18… “do not focus on what is seen… but on what is unseen…”
Col 1:16… “in Him all things created… heaven and earth… visible and invisible…”
remember… physical world is shadow of spiritual world… physical body is just a reflection of spiritual body… most of us think spiritual is less real than physical… that’s actually backward… you’ll never be more alive than after you’re dead…
1Cor 15:50-58… “physical bodies cannot inherit kingdom… dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die… mortal transformed to immortal…”
Heb 8:1-6… “throne in heaven… tabernacle is only a copy, shadow of real one…”
Some day you will read in the papers that DL Moody is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it! At that moment I shall be more alive than I am now. I shall have gone up higher, that is all. God gave us senses… most of all to protect us in this physical world… but if you rely on your senses to live life… supernatural harvest will be limited… those things we can see are temporary… don’t allow them to determine how you live…
2Cor 4:7-18… “extraordinary power from God, not us… pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed… perplexed, but not driven to despair… hunted down, but never abandoned… knocked down, but not destroyed… same spirit of faith with what is written… I believed; therefore, I spoke… we also believe, and therefore speak… everything is for your benefit… as grace extends, it will cause thanksgiving to overflow… therefore, we do not give up… present troubles are small and won’t last very long… they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and lasts forever… what is seen is temporary, what is unseen is eternal…”
lack is temporary, provision is eternal… sickness is temporary, healing is eternal… worry is temporary, peace is eternal… what do you consider most… the seen or the unseen… that will determine what things will govern your life…

if you want to operate in the supernatural… must start making decisions based on God’s word and not what you see, hear, feel… we listen to world far too much…
Psa 27… “come and talk with Me… confident I’ll see goodness… wait patiently…”
Psa 32:8… “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life… I will advise…”
Psa 119:105… “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet… a light for my path…”
Psa 146:3… “don’t put your confidence in man… there is no help for you there…”
Prov 3:5… “trust in the Lord with all your heart… do not depend on own understanding…”
Isa 2:22… “don’t put your trust in mere humans… what good are they…
Isa 30:21… “your eyes will see your Teacher… ears will hear… this is the way…”
Jer 17:5… “cursed are those who put their trust in man… turn heart from God…”
James 1:5-6… “if any lack wisdom… ask God… who gives to all generously…”
How regularly do we need to turn to the Bible? How often do we face problems, temptations, and pressure? Every day! How often do we need instruction, guidance, and encouragement? Every day! excited about your future… getting ready for supernatural harvest… fed up with issues of life… uproot those seeds and plant new ones… you are not stuck…
Job 4:8… “those who plant trouble and cultivate evil will harvest the same…”
Psa 126… “restore our fortunes Lord… those who sow in tears will reap in joy…”
Prov 4:20-23… “guard your heart… out of the heart come the issues of life…”
Prov 20:4… “lazy person does not plow… he’ll seek at harvest and have nothing…”
Luke 8… “seed is the Word… in good heart… produce 30,60,100-fold harvest…”
Gal 6:7-9 MSG… “what a person plants, he will harvest… person who plants selfishness and ignores God harvests a crop of weeds… but the one who plants in response to God… letting the HS do the work… harvests a crop of real life… if we don’t give up or quit…”
devil is afraid of this word and afraid of you… stuff happening in our world is not just physical… it’s spiritual… it’s demonic influence… going to need to know how to fight… no reason to be afraid… fight against unarmed, defeated foe…
Psa 44:3-7… “do not trust in my bow or sword… You give us victory…”
Luke 10:19… “I have given you authority over all the ability of the enemy…”
Acts 19:11-20… “sons of Sceva… I know Jesus and I know Paul, who are you…”
1Cor 15:57… “thanks be to God who gives us victory thru our Lord Jesus…”
Col 2:14-15… “disarmed spiritual rulers… shamed them by His victory on cross…”
1John 5:4-5… “every child of God defeats this evil world… achieve victory thru our faith… who can win this battle against world… only those who believe Jesus is the Son of God…”
if you can see the thing you wrote… it’s not hope… hope is based on what we can’t see… society is hopeless because everything is based on what they can see… there is no hope if you’re not in word… reality and proof of the unseen world… pray…
Rom 4:16… “that’s why promise is by faith… according to grace… to guarantee…”
Rom 8:24-26… “if we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it… but if we look forward to something we don’t yet have… must wait patiently and confidently… HS helps us in our weakness… don’t know what to pray, HS prays for us with inexpressible groanings…”
Heb 11:1… “faith is reality of what is hoped for… proof of what is not seen…”
