DISCUSS
1. Why do you think we question or have concerns about where we go when we die? What do you know about God or scripture that that should calm any concerns?
2. Read 2 Corinthians 5:8, and 1 Samuel 16:7. What do you think about the discussion you heard about being outside of time when we die?
3. Read Revelation 21:4. How might we recognize each other in heaven? What impressions do you have about this possibility?
4. As we possibly recognize each other, how do you feel about being able to heal relationships that were unresolved here on earth?
5. What do YOU see as “the best that is yet to come” from the sermon series or after your personal study? (Sermon topics covered included being remembered by Jesus and being with Him in His kingdom, being resurrected in a new body, the new home that Jesus’ is preparing for us, the New Heaven and New Earth, the fact that justice is coming, the rewards we will be given, and the fact that we will sin no more.
6. In which context do you find yourself wanting to call out “Maranatha?” Is it in praise or in yearning? Why?
