Ever since

interrupted God’s flawless creation, mankind has relationally…

With the creation - “Cursed is the ground because of you…” (Gen 3:17b)
With God - “So the Lord God banished him/them from the Garden of Eden…” (Gen. 3:23)
With one another - “Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.” (Gen. 4:8b)

Relational limps are the result of…

- “In his pride the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.” (Psalm 10:4)
and - “You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil; with you the wicked cannot dwell. The arrogant cannot stand in your presence; you hate all who do wrong. You destroy those who tell lies; bloodthirsty and deceitful men the Lord abhors.” (Psalm 5:4-6)
- “Do not trust a neighbor; put no confidence in a friend. Even with her who lies in your embrace - be careful of your words.” (Micah 7:5)
- “People will be lovers of themselves…boastful, proud…without love, unforgiving…rash, conceited…Have nothing to do with them.” (2Tim. 3:2-5)

But…

brings about : “…those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)

yourselves - “Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult…” (1 Pet. 3:8-9a)
Seek and - “…I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” (Eph. 4:1-3)
one another - “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander… Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Eph. 4:31-32)
*Do everything in * - “This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.” (1John 3:11, 16)

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:34-35)
