
Faith Tested by Fire
1 Peter 1:6-9
1 Peter 1:6-9 - In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.
Our faith will be tested by the fires and trials of life! As a result of that testing, many will fall away. (see 2 Thessalonians 2:3)

Is your faith a Biblical/Scriptural faith?
If it is, it means that you believe this Book is the Word of God.
The Prophets of the Old Testament revealed that a Savior was coming (see 1 Peter 1:10-12).
It was through their word and God’s written Word we were born again (see 1 Peter 1:23-25)
The people who go through the fires and fall away are the ones who have a low-view or even a no-view of the inspiration of the Bible. They have no foundation upon which to stand.
