SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM

8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
9  Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
10  But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
11  To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. —1 Peter 5:8 - 11

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. —Matthew 6:33

Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. —Isaiah 9:7

And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in Heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ,
and He shall reign for ever and ever!” —Revelation 11:15

Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied. —Matthew 5:6 (AMP)

Righteousness

For the kingdom of God is not eating
and drinking, but righteousness and
peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. —Romans 14:17

9  In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
10  Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. —Matthew 6:9 - 10

31  “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
34  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. —Matthew 6:31 - 34

So he answered and said to me:
“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts. —Zechariah 4:6

For the kingdom of God is not eating
and drinking, but righteousness and
peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. —Romans 14:17

And when He has come, He will
convict the world of sin, and of
righteousness, and of judgment —John 16:8
of sin, because they do not believe in Me;
of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;
of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. —John 16:9 - 11

For all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God. —Romans 3:23

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21  But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
22  even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;
23  for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24  being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
25  whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
26  to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. —Romans 3:19 - 26

18 The road the righteous travel is like the sunrise, getting brighter and brighter until daylight has come.
19 The road of the wicked, however, is dark as night. They fall, but cannot see what they have stumbled over. —Proverbs 4:18 - 19

In the way of righteousness there is life;
along that path is immortality. —Proverbs 12:28

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. —1 Corinthians 5:17

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. —1 Corinthians 5:21

I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.
This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.
8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! —Psalms 34:4 - 8

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. —Proverbs 18:10

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. —Hebrews 4:15 - 16

You are HIS righteousness!
