The Hard Truth

What was it about Jesus that thousands of people came out to follow Him, but at the end of the day, only a handful were truly dedicated? Jesus spoke truth, and He called for honor, obedience and commitment.

What does it mean to honor God?
It’s not about fearing people in power.
We do not need to fear the whispers of legalistic, judgmental opinions from flawed men.

The Jews understood the Trinity. They knew from Genesis that the Spirit of God hovered over the waters.
They knew that King David had the Holy Spirit.
They knew the Savior was coming, but the idea that God made himself nothing, became man (Philippians 2:7), and that He was there in the flesh was foreign to them.

Possess our faith with passion
Proclaim the good news to others
Persevere when times get tough
